Global Conference on Services and Retail Management (GLOSERV 2021), which will be held during May 11-13, 2021 as a virtual conference. The services and retail management has become one of the main aspects of academia to research on. There is a multitude of studies in this field, bringing its importance even more to the attention of academia in recent years. There is a great demand among scholars who are studying in this field to share their findings with their fellow colleagues. Therefore, GLOSERV conference invites researchers who resonate with this topic to share their findings and ideas.

GLOSERV 2021 will be organized by the University of Naples Federico II, Naples, Italy and the University of South Florida, Tampa, Florida, USA.

GLOSERV 2021 aims to bring together researchers, scientists, scholar,s and graduate students to exchange and share their experiences, new ideas, and research results about all aspects of Services and Retail Management and discuss the practical challenges encountered and the solutions adopted. English is the official language of the conference. We welcome paper submissions.

Prospective authors are invited to submit full or abstract only (and original research) papers (which are NOT submitted/published/under consideration anywhere in other conferences/journal) in electronic format. All papers will be double-blind reviewed by experts in the relevant fields.

Paper Submission

All documents should be written in only word document (.doc or .docx) formats. 

  1. Abstract only* should be minimum 1,000 words (excluding reference list). 1,000 words limit is required for the initial review process. For the publication in proceedings, 150-300 words abstract including purpose, methods, and major findings will be sufficient. 
  2. Full paper* should be minimum 3,000 words (excluding reference list and acknowledgements and appendices if applicable)
  3. Roundtable discussions* should be minimum 1,000 words (excluding reference list). 1,000 words limit is required for the initial review process. For the publication in proceedings, 150-300 words abstract including purpose, methods, and major findings will be sufficient. 
  4. Symposium presentations* should be minimum 1,000 words (excluding reference list). 1,000 words limit is required for the initial review process. For the publication in proceedings, 150-300 words abstract including purpose, methods, and major findings will be sufficient. 

Paper Submission: PLEASE DO NOT INCLUDE ANY IDENTIFICATION INFORMATION INCLUDING “NAME, UNIVERSITY, AFFILIATION, AND CONTACT ADDRESS” IN THE “SUBMISSION” DOCUMENT AS THIS CONFERENCE USES DOUBLE-BLIND PEER REVIEW PROCESS.

Best Paper Selection Rules

  1. Best papers will be selected only from full papers (should be minimum 3,000 words (excluding reference list and acknowledgements and appendices if applicable).
  2. Authors are required to submit their camera-ready full papers by April 15, 2021.
  3. The papers that were nominated by the reviewers will be sent to the best paper selection committee. Based on committee decision, the authors will be informed.
  4. The author or at least one of the co-authors has to attend and present the selected paper.
  5. All winning authors will get complimentary registration for the next conference.
  6. The selected papers may be considered to be published at the Journal of Global Business Insights (JGBI) 

Book or Proceedings Publication

  1. Authors are required to submit and get approval for the camera-ready copy for any publication opportunity.
  2. Once the author(s) submit and get approval for the camera-ready copy of their full papers, it will be published in one of the Advances in Global Services Management Book Volumes of (with an ISBN number) the University of South Florida M3 Publishing as open access format.
  3. All of the camera-ready approved abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings series of (with an ISSN number) the the University of South Florida M3 Publishing as open access format.
  4. Abstracts or full papers which do not fulfil the formatting guidelines’ requirements will not be published.
