The conference is now launching the final call for papers. The deadline for the second call for abstract is until the October 15, 2020. If you still want to join the selection of publishing in the proceedings, you should send your full English paper earlier. This will give the chance to all those who like to submit an abstract but did not have time to do so. The details of the second call can be seen in our submission page.

ICT2020 Will be Held Virtually Online

with the conference center in Shanghai China, Nov. 6-7, 2020

The conference of 2020 will be held virtually online in Shanghai during Nov. 6-7, 2020. Due to the Covid 19 outbreak，the conference of 2020 will be held virtually online with the conference center in Shanghai.

All the accepted full papers in English will be reviewed and selected for publication in our proceedings book which will be published by Springer Nature. The proceedings will be indexed by ISI Web of Knowledge (CPCI-SSH—Conference Proceedings CitationIndex - Social Science & Humanities).

This is the 10th anniversary of our conference. All our old friends and new friends are welcome to participate the conference. We will celebrate the 10th year of this face to face exchange platform virtually of the tourism and hospitality studies and industries between China and Spain.

All original paper contributions that may help in tourism and hospitality research and development are welcome to submit to the conference. The influence of the COVID 19 pandemic to the tourism industry and the strategies to overcome the difficulties will be addressed. E-tourism and marketing, social networks for development of tourism, green tourism product and marketing etc. will be discussed as well. All the papers should be in English. The paper topics can be found in our call for papers page.

The conference has both academic and industrial parts. The industrial part is for the tourism and hospitality professionals to promote the cooperation between China and Spain.

Our Conference Host

Our host of this important conference is the Shanghai Tourism School of the Shanghai Normal University. The school is listed in the world-renowned universities for tourism studies, a pioneer in the China Tourism education. It is a member of the World Tourism Organization, a member of the "Five-Star Alliance" of China Tourism Academy, Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee of the ESCAP Asia-Pacific Tourism Education and Training Agency (APETIT). The school journal “Tourism Science” is a journal under the Chinese Science Citation Index (CSSCI) and Chinese and social sciences (CASS). The school sponsored "Tourism Science" ranked second nationwide in the same subject area.

Original papers about sustainable development in both tourism and hospitality research and practice are under call. The papers should dress but not limited to the following topics.

Two types of papers and presentations are under call: The academic papers and industrial and administrative presentations.

2. Industrial and administrative presentations

The central topic for tourism and hospitality sector presentations is make the tourism and hospitality development more sustainable and taking into account of the protection of the environment. We also emphasize how to promote the cooperation in the tourism and hospitality related sectors between China, Spain and other countries around the world. The topics of industrial part for presentations in the conference include but not limited to the following:

• • Exchange experience in the sustainability, environment protection in the tourism and hospitality industry.
  • To express the intention, strategic plans of your own enterprise in cooperation with the potential partners in tourism and hospitality professionals in the other side.
