Applications and nominations are invited for the position of C.B. Smith Professor of Hotel Management at the College of Health and Human Science’s School of Hospitality and Tourism Management (HTM). The individual that holds the C.B. Smith professorship will teach undergraduate courses in Lodging Management, Resort Management Property & Engineering Management, and Hotel Feasibility and Business Development. In addition, this individual will teach Advanced Hotel Management at the Graduate level, as well as direct and participate in graduate committees. The C.B. Smith Professor is the Director of the Center for the Study of Lodging Operations. One of three Centers in the School of HTM, the Center seeks to advance the hotel industry at the local, national, and international level through the use of basic and applied research to deal with industry issues and challenges.
